Nata & Natter
Autumn in Cardiff & Bath: The Cosy Season Has Arrived
There’s something about autumn that makes us fall in love with Cardiff and Bath all over again.
Maybe it’s the crisp mornings, the golden leaves or the excuse to wrap up warm and head out for a long walk before treating yourself to a coffee and a Pastel de Nata. Whatever it is, autumn just feels a little bit magical. Especially at Nata & Co with two new autumnal Pastel de Nata flavours.
Autumn in Cardiff
One of our favourite things about autumn in Cardiff is simply getting outside.
There’s nothing quite like walking through Bute Park and Cardiff Castle when the leaves start changing colour. Grab a coffee, put on your favourite jumper and wander along the River Taff while the city starts to feel a little quieter and cosier.
And, of course, a walk isn't complete without something delicious at the end of it. Bute Park brings you right out onto Castle Street, where Nata & Co shares beautiful views of Cardiff Castle. That is the ultimate Autumn Walk Route if you ask me.
And this autumn, we have two very exciting new additions to our Nata menu...
Meet our S'Mores Nata
If there was ever a Pastel de Nata made for autumn, this might be it. You simply cannot think Autumn without thinking S’Mores around the campfire.
Our new S'Mores Nata brings together all the best bits of a cosy night around the campfire — melted chocolate, toasted marshmallow and our creamy Portuguese custard, all tucked inside our signature flaky pastry.
It's sweet, gooey, indulgent and very difficult to resist.
Say hello to our Lemon Meringue Nata
If you're after something a little lighter to match those fresh, Autumn mornings our Lemon Meringue Nata is the one for you.
Think zesty lemon, creamy custard and sweet meringue, finished with our beautifully crisp pastry. It's the perfect balance of sweet and tangy - and a lovely little pick-me-up after an autumn walk around Cardiff or Bath.
Autumn in Bath
And then there's Bath. Oh, how we love Bath in the Autumn.
If Cardiff autumn is all about golden walks and cosy city days, autumn in Bath feels like stepping straight into a period drama – a slower, calmer pace of life.
With the Georgian architecture, honey-coloured stone and crisp autumn air, it's almost impossible not to feel like you've wandered into a Jane Austen novel.
Whether you're exploring the Royal Crescent, wandering along the River Avon or simply getting lost amongst Bath's beautiful streets, autumn seems to suit the city perfectly. The infamous Pulteney Bridge is an absolute must-see in Bath. Nata & Co is ideally located with beautiful views of the bridge. Ideal for escaping bad weather with a warm drink whilst still enjoying Bath's beauty.
And naturally, we think every period-drama-esque day out deserves a Pastel de Nata.
And there's more to come...
Just when you thought autumn couldn't get any cosier...
